Introduction
Howdy friends. It’s been a minute.
Let me catch you up on what I’ve been up to these past few weeks.
What I’ve Created
Lots of Data Structures
Lots of Algorithms
99% Progress on Codecademy
That’s right, I am 99% finished with Codecademy!
I’ve been slowly working through various courses for about 10 months now.
It’s really exciting to be finishing such a long-term goal.
In finishing it up, I’ve got to learn a ton about various data structures and algorithms.
Though it may sound boring, I found making various algorithms for repetitive processes and searching data really quite fun.
The only things I have left are a big final project and some final tests.
What I’ve Consumed
Radically Whole by David Gibson
This book had been sitting on my shelf for quite some time and I decided that now was the perfect time to break into it.
In short, great book so far.
In long, I needed this book. The immensely encouraging Gospel healing centered message is like a breath of fresh air. I’m not too far into it yet. But, I can heartily recommend this book already for those like me who struggle with double-mindedness and internal war.
What went Well
Great progress on Codecademy
Great training experience at work
What went Wrong
Got barely any work done last week
What I’m Taking Away
Programming is fun, do more of it
Do your best at work, it will pay off
Look to Christ for wholeness and purpose in life
Conclusion
Thanks for reading this rather short update. These past few weeks kind of slipped away from me. So not much to write about!
As always, I will write to you again next week.
God bless,
-Luke
